The WIC program provides nutritious foods and education for pregnant women, non-breastfeeding moms for 6 months postpartum, breastfeeding moms up to one year after delivery, infants age newborn up to one year of age and children ages 1 up to five who meet the following guidelines:​

  • Live in Michigan

  • Show a Medical or Nutritional Risk –This can include anemia, overweight, underweight,  an underlying chronic disease, pregnancy, inadequate growth or inadequate diet.

  • Meet Income Guidelines

Kid Grocery Shopping

WIC helps food money go further by providing foods such as milk, juice, cereal, cheese, etc. In addition, WIC promotes breastfeeding, offers free breast pumps, as well as, many healthy food choices.
