Most insurances cover the cost of vaccination. However, there are programs available to help with vaccine costs
Children:
CCHD participates in the vaccines for children program (*VFC). This program gives childhood vaccines to eligible children at little to no cost for parents. We will not charge you for the vaccine, but you may be asked to pay a small administration fee.
Children will not be turned away for the inability to pay
*Eligibility: Medicaid/Medicaid-eligible, American Indian/Alaskan Native, No health insurance, under-insured, less than 19 years of age.
Adults:
Most insurances cover the cost of vaccination. However, if your insurance does not cover the cost or you are uninsured, you may be eligible for the Free Adult Vaccine program. Under this program, many vaccines only cost the patient $10.
